Mendoza has pitched 7 2/3 innings last 3 starts and allowed 19 runs with 11 earned and all of his starts are nasty. White Sox start Gavin Floyd and Floyd and the White Sox have won their last 2 outings. Really huge pitching mismatch today in Arlington. Take the White Sox in this first game of this 3-Game series and the price is right -120. Play Chicago White Sox.

Had the LA Angels last night and watched Frankie Rodriguez , who is on pace to break the All-Time single season saves give it up. Rodriguez has 35 saves right now before the All-Star break and that in itself is a record passing Atlanta’s John Smoltz who had 34. Anyway Rodriguez walked the leadoff hitter in the Ninth inning yesterday Ramon Vazquez on 4 pitches, then struck out 2B Ian Kinsler and Frank Catalanotto grounded out to first moving Vazquez to second. Rodriguez had SS Michael Young down with 2 strijes before young singles to left scoring Vazquez making the score 4-3. Up comes RBI leader Josh Hamilton and again Rodriguez had him down with 2 strikes on, before throwing another slow curve ball that Hamilton hit over the fence for a game-winning 2 run homer (5-4).

Don’t know why Rodriguez throws his Curveball or his Change-up so much. Rodriguez has a good fastball that is clocked in the mid-90’s and should throw that more to set up his great Change-up and Curveball and not let hitters see those pitches more than once at bat! Anyway first time in Rodriguez career that he gave up a walk-off homer. Tough way to loss a BEST BET OF THE DAY!

Thanks for listening and don’t fret, because I won’t will be back and firing strong again Thursday. Always come back also Friday to see Gary’s Free Winner. Talk to you soon!

The Milwaukee Brewers made the first move in Baseball by acquiring CC Sabathia from the Indians and will be interesting to see how many counter-moves will be made now until the trading deadline. Believe the Brewers made this trade now was because Sabathia’s time in the rotation is today and the Brewers will be able to use him today and Sunday before the All-Star Break. A wise move by the Brewers. Just really how bad is the Padres offense? Played the Padres yesterday against the Marlins, because mostly liked the price with San Diego and still believe that Greg Maddux can still give quality starts. But really will have to step back and look hard to play the Padres now because of their pathetic offense! Padres’ offense is averaging 3.66 runs per game 29th out of 30 teams in Baseball only Washington is scoring less! Believe it or not the Padres have won 9 times this season when scoring less than 4 runs per game. San Diego has scored 89 runs less their their opponets again 29th out of 30 teams. Will be hard now to put money on this team. Bloggers I have my 25* TOTAL PLAY going again today and have won 11 of the last 15 in this Package along with my TOP RATED PLAY OF THE DAY for Tuesday. 2 Great Packages for $20 Tuesdays. Don’t forget these Packages today and please come back to this blog tomorrow and everyday as I will love to hear from my Customers regularly. Talk to you tomorrow.

(33-53) San Diego - C Baek 0-4 6.00 at (43-43) Arizona - D Haren 8-4 2.85 - We will just how well the Arizona Diamondbacks play after yesterday’s comeback against the Brewers. Arizona down 5-0 bottom of the Ninth and the Diamondbacks scored 6 runs without making an out to win 6-5. Dan Haren starts for the Diamondbacks and he has allowed less than a runner to reach base all season long and his last 3 starts have been great. Haren has allowed 11 hits in 21 innings and only 1 rearned run foe an 0.43 ERA. Not sure yesterday’s Ninth inning will jump start this sluggish Diamondback offense and with today’s total 8 1/2 and the over favored like the Under. Play Under

Both teams had Thursday off. Baltimore took two of three from Washington earlier in Interleague play back in Baltimore. The Orioles are 10-5 SU in Interleague play and have won 4 of the 5 series played this season in Interleague, including a series sweep over Houston and a series win on the road in Chicago against the Cubs, who have the best home record in baseball. Baltimore has the better pitching matchup also today with Daniel Cabrera against Odalis Perez. Washington just 2-7 last 9 games overall. It’s a low price with Baltimore laying just -130. Take the Orioles

(39-37) Arizona - D Haren 7-4 3.26 at (47-31) Boston - J Beckett 7-4 3.87 - Boston had to play a 13 inning game yesterday against St Louis and Arizona has scored just 8 runs in their last four games and three of those games went ‘under’! Both pitchers today have been brilliant in their last three starts with Haren pitching 20 innings and giving up just 14 hits and two walks and Beckett going 19 innings and given up just 21 hits and three walks. Also, both pitchers have allowed just one runner to reach base per inning all season long. Don’t look for TOO MANY runners to reach today! Take the game ‘under’.
