The UNLV Rebels have surprised everyone with their 3-1 start to the season. The Rebels already have the same amount of victories that they accumulated over the last three seasons. The Rebels are just three more games away from becoming bowl eligible. Here in the Vegas Valley, the talk of Mike Sanford’s job being on the line has about disappeared. Omar Clayton is having a remarkable season completing 63% of his passes for 777 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions. The Rebels have played two nig games in a row versus Arizona State and Iowa State. However, don not expect a let down here. This is the biggest game on the schedule for both teams. The Nevada, still called Reno here in Las Vegas, Wolf pack are 1-2 on the season after taking on two of the best offenses in the country in Missouri and Texas Tech. The Wolf Pack has won the last three games of the series and will be looking for their fourth. The Rebels came close last season before falling 27-20 to in the final seconds of the game. The Rebels will be looking to win their third straight of the season. Ironically, the last time the Rebels won three straight games was back in 2003 and their third opponent was Reno.
