The acquisitions for the Dodgers in the second half of the season have catapulted them into the playoffs. The addition of Manny Ramirez was huge. Not only did he brig his big bat with him but he also has been a good influence on the youngsters on the roster. Andre Either, James Kemp and James Looney have all been better hitters since Manny mania has hit Hollywood. The Dodgers have also brought in Casey Blake and veteran pitcher Greg Maddux.
