Don’t let early season fluke games which are not indicative of a team’s overall direction influence your decision making for the next four months. This season will be interesting as all the top notch teams appear to have weaknesses while several middle of the road teams improved from last season.

1. Indianapolis Colts (1-1 ATS)
Not going to be great until Manning finishes his preseason and Jeff Saturday returns to the O line.

2. San Diego Chargers (0-1-1)
Familiar slow start. Offense is excellent, defense is suddenly suspicious.

3. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
Averaging 316 a game passing and 117 rushing.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)
Nothing wrong with losing a close one at Dallas.

5. New Orleans Saints (1-1)
Allowing way too much yardage on the ground.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1)
Winning ugly in Week 2 was more impressive than Week 1 blowout.

7. Tennessee Titans (2-0)
Allowed just 17 points and sacked the opposing quarterback eight times already.

8. New England Patriots (2-0)
Could turn into a conservative ‘under’ machine.

9. Buffalo Bills (2-0)
Could easily start 4-0.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)
Huge heart last year, not yet this year.

11. Minnesota Vikings (0-2)
Victims of a brutal early season schedule, need a win Sunday

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1)
Average offense, good defense, great coach.

13. Arizona Cardinals (2-0)
Improved defense is making this team legitimate.

14. New York Giants (2-0)
Been on the wrong side of this team for nine months.

15. Seattle Seahawks (0-2)
Receiver injuries and poor defense are haunting the Emerald City.

16. Cleveland Browns (1-1)
Have already lost more home games than all of last season.

17. Chicago Bears (0-1-1)
A whisker from an impressive 2-0 start, tough test in home opener.

18. Washington Redskins (1-1)
Great win for Campbell’s development. Could improve quickly.

19. Green Bay Packers (2-0)
Can I hear from one angry Cheese Head for ranking the Vikings 8 spots higher?

20. Denver Broncos (2-0)
320 yards passing and 143 rushing per game through the first two weeks.

21. Carolina Panthers (1-0-1)
We find out if Panthers are vastly improved this week. My guess is no.

22. New York Jets (1-1)
I’d rather not say anything about the Jets this week.

23. Houston Texans (0-1)
If they have to start playing home games at Rice it could be a long season.

24. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)
The most disappointing team in the league through two weeks, including the Rams.

25. Miami Dolphins (0-2)
Bettors are reassured they suck, now they start covering

26. San Francisco 49ers (0-2)
J.T. O’Sullivan and a soft pretzel for a defense, not buying yet.

27. Detroit Lions (0-2)
Let’s try not digging out of a 21-0 hole this week.

28. Baltimore Ravens (1-0)
Ravens vs. Texans, they should have just canceled it , no one would have cared.

29. Kansas City Chiefs (0-2)
One of the greatest home field advantages in sports doesn’t currently apply.

30. Oakland Raiders (1-1)
Fire yourself Al!

31. Atlanta Falcons (1-1)
Week 1 performance will prove to be an anomaly.

32. St. Louis Rams (0-2)
Outscored 79-16 so far.

Wow, what a start to the NFL season! My preseason top 3 is all 0-1, while two of the bottom three is 1-0. Here are my updated rankings heading into Week 2.

1. Indianapolis Colts (0-1)
The new Super Bowl favorite despite a horrible Week 1.

2. San Diego Chargers (0-1)
A surprising loss but still one of the most talented teams.

3. New Orleans Saints (1-0)
Great offense and it looks like the city will survive hurricane season.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)
Looked invincible last week, huge test Monday night.

5. Dallas Cowboys (1-0)
Steam rolled a good Cleveland team in Week 1.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1)
Pass protection must improve immediately.

7. Tennessee Titans (1-0)
Vince Young needs to be healthy to be a Top 10 team.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0)
Roethlisberger’s quarterback rating is 147.0 after the first week.

9. Minnesota Vikings (0-1)
Disappointing loss but they showed promise.

10. New England Patriots (1-0)
This may still be a little high with no Brady.

11. Cleveland Browns (0-1)
Must avoid losing back-to-back home games to start the season.

12. Seattle Seahawks (0-1)
Good team but there’s some serious issues at wide receiver.

13. Buffalo Bills (1-0)
One penalty, no turnovers and a hell of a coaching job.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1)
Best Week 1 performance which resulted in a loss.

15. Arizona Cardinals (1-0)
Could this be the first Arizona team not to completely disappoint the fan base?

16. New York Giants (1-0)
Nice win, but it still looks like an eight win team.

17. Chicago Bears (1-0)
Very impressive, still don’t trust the offense.

18. Washington Redskins (0-1)
Should improve as Campbell becomes more familiar with the system.

19. New York Jets (1-0)
49 rushing yards against was the key to the victory.

20. Cincinnati Bengals (0-1)
Ocho Stinko!

21. Carolina Panthers (1-0)
Potential for huge turn around came to fruition in San Diego.

22. Green Bay Packers (1-0)
Can I hear from one angry Cheese Head for rankings the Vikings 13 spots higher?

23. Denver Broncos (0-0)
441 yards of offense in a blowout over Oakland Community College.

24. Miami Dolphins (0-1)
Better effort but must get the rushing game established.

25. Detroit Lions (0-1)
Failure to show up in first quarter results in a bad loss.

26. Houston Texans (0-1)
38-17 loss wasn’t even that close.

27. San Francisco 49ers (0-1)
It’s tough to win with five turnovers including four fumbles.

28. Kansas City Chiefs (0-1)
Injuring Brady might be the most relevant contribution to the season.

29. Baltimore Ravens (1-0)
The defense will have them in a lot of games but wins will be elusive.

30. St. Louis Rams (0-1)
Allowed 522 yards, while gaining 166

31. Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
318 yards rushing is a manly performance; we’ll see what happens at Tampa.

32. Oakland Raiders (0-1)
Penalty and turnover issues, imagine that.

1. New England Patriots
Last season’s best is on top again.

2. San Diego Chargers
Will benefit from six games against inferior competition within their division.

3. Indianapolis Colts
As long as Dungy and Manning are in town, this is a Top 5 team.

4. New Orleans Saints
My biggest ‘over’ play on season win ‘totals’ is the Aint’s.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars
The formula is the same from high school to the NFL. Effective rushing game + good defense = wins.

6. Philadelphia Eagles
Expect the Eagles to jump back to the top of the East.

7. Dallas Cowboys
One of the most talented teams in football will contend again.

8. Tennessee Titans
It’s good to have Jeff Fisher and Vince Young on your side when looking for the cover.

9. Minnesota Vikings
If Jackson steps up, the Vikings could contend for the Super Bowl.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers
Not their most talented squad, but franchise excellence keeps them in the Top 10.

11. Cleveland Browns
Potent offense but a Super Bowl trip is less likely than Crennel skipping a meal.

12. Seattle Seahawks
The class of the NFC West. It’s like being the nicest Hyundai on the lot.

13. Buffalo Bills
Personal respect for Jauron may have inspired a slightly inflated rating.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gruden is one of the best. The Bucs could ‘cover’ a lot of numbers and end up sneaky good.

15. Arizona Cardinals
Preseason quarterback controversies usually spell disaster but the talent should get eight wins.

16. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincy is a healthy Palmer and a wealthy bail bondsman from contending in the North.

17. Washington Redskins
The upside to Campbell is huge. Washington may be the most unpredictable team in the league.

18. New York Giants
Win the Super Bowl and earn a ranking of 18th. It’s a tough league.

19. Chicago Bears
Defensive is still one of the best but the offense is dreadful.

20. Green Bay Packers
Silver has a full head of steam but the Lone Ranger moved to New York

21. New York Jets
Broadway Brett may wish he was in Kiln hunting pheasants.

22. Denver Broncos
Shanahan’s philosophy keeps them competitive but a lack of talent results in more losses than usual.

23. Detroit Lions
For the first time in the Millen era the team might not be a complete embarrassment.

24. Carolina Panthers
If everything comes together a huge improvement is possible but that’s too big of an if.

25. Miami Dolphins
Should be a pointspread darling during the first half of the season.

26. Houston Texans
New, improved and playing in the wrong division.

27. Kansas City Chiefs
The youth movement will pay off but probably not until 2010.

28. San Francisco 49ers
The dynasty of greatness has been followed by a dynasty of futility.

29. St. Louis Rams
Greatest debacle on turf.

30. Baltimore Ravens
Have a beer for every Baltimore score. You’ll be sober all season.

31. Oakland Raiders
Silver, black and stinky

32. Atlanta Falcons
Where’s MC Hammer now?

GreyFox starts his SEC breakdown with the Florida Gators

Since Urban Meyer’s arrival, the Gators have compiled a 70-16 record, with a daunting 19-1 home mark. After an opening 8-3 regular season in ’05, Meyer took Ron Zook’s prize recruiting class to a National Title in ’06. Last season ended with a disappointing bowl loss to Michigan, but the Gators are bringing back a Heisman Trophy winner along with 15 potential starters from that squad, and seem to have a favorable schedule.

The one constant at Florida is very strong….Charlie Strong. This Defensive Coordinator has continually fielded one of the top rushing defenses in the country. His defenses alone will keep this team in contention for the SEC East title. Meyer further strengthened the defensive side of the ball with the addition of Dan McCarney as Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Line. McCarney was the 2004 Big XXII Coach of the Year after guiding a tough Iowa State team that produced one of only two bowl wins there since 2000. Look for a repeat of the ‘06 unit that held foes to 20 points or less in 9 of eleven regular season contests, and shut Ohio State down completely in the National Title Game.

Dan Mullen calls the plays as the offensive coordinator, and he has held that position under Meyer at Bowling Green and Utah. There is no questioning the talents of quarterback Tim Tebow. He is a tremendous player, but games in which he was banged up last year, Florida really struggled. He cannot take the repeated hits that this system produces with the magnitude of running needed from the QB position. Perhaps Meyer will continue to adapt his flashy offense to get the ball into the hands of USC transfer Emmanuel Moody. The 2006 Sporting News Offensive Freshman of the Year sat out last season for the transfer, and should be coming out with all pistons firing. While most pollsters have cast the top rating this year to the Georgia Bulldogs, it’s Florida, with the slightly easier schedule, and less off-season drama, which may prevail out of the East, and contend for the National Title.

Season Preview:

Oklahoma is a historic juggernaut from the Big 12. This program needs no introduction to even the most square of college football fans. It harkens memories of teams that went multiple seasons without losing a game. Sooner fans have witnessed seven National Championships, 42 conference championships, 146 All-Americans, four Heisman Trophy Winners and a 47 game unbeaten streak. The program has been home to some of college football’s best coaches and players for decades. Coaching is currently strong for OU, as Bob Stoops stands at the wheelhouse for the boys in Crimson and Cream.

Starting his 11th year, Stoops posts a career record of 97-22 (65-13 Big 12), with a 3-2 record against hated arch rival Texas over the past five campaigns. The biggest hurdle facing this program is escaping its division, and once it does that, it is going to have to find a way to erase the current 1-4 bowl run. Texas and Texas Tech are fielding veteran, tough teams this season, and battling for the Big 12 South is going to bring great bloodshed.

The team that does escape is likely to find itself in a National Championship game against a wounded representative from the S.E.C., or a Southern California team that is tanned and well rested after an off season of beating up on the mediocre Pac-10.

The program may capture yet another conference championship. The schedule looks favorable for the Sooners. They will have to travel away from Norman to face Washington, Baylor, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Texas (neutral), and Oklahoma State. This is far from a formidable road schedule for a program of this stature. The concern is not with the talent on this Sooner team but the potential clash with Texas on October 11. Yes, this is always a huge game with its own nickname, site and crazed fans like all great college rivalries. However, this year is the 1st season for new Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp. This man is a walking defensive genius, and is going to be a head coach in the near future. He has been at Auburn and L.S.U. since 2001, with a brief stint to coach a stingy Dolphin Defense in the N.F.L. Muschamp will bring the defenses of which the Big 12 has never seen. Texas under the guidance and leadership of the same head coach and offensive coordinator has averaged over 40 points a game in their 10 year tenure. Now they add a defensive coordinator who has allowed less than twenty points per game in his career.

Muschamp will still be dealing with another coaches recruits and players, and that his system may take a year to get everyone on the same page. This is why Oklahoma has the best chance to capture the South Division. Once Muschamp is entrenched and has his players in place, this rivalry will shift to the Longhorns favor.

The most difficult challenge on the road is the October 25 date at Kansas State. Ron Prince is one of the top coaches in the country. The third year coach has yet to lose to Texas during his tenure (2-0), and while lacking the talent of the big boys, always give top notch opponents a competitive game. The Sooners draw Kansas State in a good spot on the schedule, and should out talent the Wildcats in their first shot at Prince.

Many are the high on the talented Red Raiders of Texas Tech. Tech has won two of the previous five against Oklahoma but they were both in Lubbock. The Sooners generally force Texas Tech into a myriad of mistakes, while showing off its coaching edge and defensive domination. OU should find a way to defeat the Red Raiders in Norman.

Nebraska is hardly a rivalry anymore…Bill Callahan saw to that!! Once this comatose head coach was removed, Husker faithful breathed a collective sigh of relief. From 2003-2007, the Sooners have outscored their Husker foes 72-34…and Nebraska scored 21 of those points in one game. Bo Pelini may be the answer for Nebraska, but this season looks to be a building year for them with a lot of young talent being fed to the lions. Look for the Sooners to relish the role of lion in the November 1st contest with Nebraska.

Offensively, Oklahoma brings back eight starters, including the nation’s leader in pass efficiency, Sam Bradford. Bradford set an NCAA Record with 37 touchdown passes as a freshman last season. Yes, he could suffer the sophomore jinx, but this a very smart football player, and he is surrounded by talent. He is smart, has good physical skills and an accurate, strong arm. He has also shown the ability to hit the open streaking receiver. With two returning seniors flanking him to the outside, Bradford should have a solid year.

The WR position has returning senior Juaquin Iglesias who has compiled 25 starts over the last three seasons, and averages close to 14 yards per reception. Manuel Johnson (senior) has 12 starts and also loves to catch the ball and turn short throws into big plays. The TE Jermaine Gresham has 4.5 speed and averages an impressive 15 yards per catch.

HB DeMarco Murray has tremendous speed with times ranging in the mid 4.3’s. Murray has yet to bear the brunt of a full Big 12 season, and it will be interesting to see how his body holds up, but he will be running behind returning All Big 12 fullback (Brody Eldridge) and a veteran offensive line. The line brings back six players who started games last year, and their 130 combined starts ranks them the most veteran of all units in college football.

Defensively this team returns 5 starters from a unit that has shown improvement since midseason ‘07. They only allowed 17 points to Oklahoma State and Missouri in their last two regular season contests, and at that time, both offensives were putting up gaudy numbers.

OU returns a stellar defensive front, which should help the inexperienced defensive backfield grow as the season progresses. DE Auston Englsih is coming off an All Big 12 season and boasted 9.5 sacks last season. The middle of this unit should be stout. DeMarcus Granger brings experience, size and speed, and Gerald McCoy was Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the year last year, starting all 13 games.

The secondary, while it lacks in experience, will feature speed, with only Nic Harris returning as a starter at SS. The unit will have the opportunity to make big play with the aggressive front seven attacking the quarterback. Harris should make up for the inexperience around him by covering deep, and with 23 starts under his belt, and 142 tackles the past two seasons, he has shown toughness and the ability to come up and stuff the run.

The schedule seems to fit the Sooners this year. Their first big test will come against Texas in the seventh week of the season. If the Sooners take care of business in this game, they can make a potential run at the national championship. Coach Stoops has lost four straight BCS Bowl games but none of them have been for the BCS Championship. Of Oklahoma’s last 7 losses, four have come on the final play of the game!

The Sooners don’t have to play a highly rated Missouri team from the Big 12 North, and they draw their toughest opponents in Memorial Stadium. If they stay healthy, and the secondary gels as the season progresses OU will finish the season in a BCS Bowl Game…the question is…can all the pieces fall into place for that magical title they long for in Norman?

We split yesterday winning with the favored Red Sox and losing with the Astros as a huge underdog. The value was there but Backe struggled with control and started leaving the ball up. It was an obvious possibility against a loaded lineup on an offensive day at Wrigley but the play had to be made.

Tuesday’s win with the Rays put us over the $1000 (1078) mark since we started keeping track at Sharpbettor.com. If you have bet $100 on each of my releases that would be your return. Congrats to those who have participated in the winning and jump on board to the rest of you. It’s never too late.

Baseball season is traditionally the most difficult time of year for us to show substantial gains but we’re well on our way to our third consecutive profit making season. Tip of the cap to Jack Boss for his input with the American League. Jack is hitting 63% of the plays he has given me from his office in Evanston, Illinois.

Only one release today and you can find it on the guaranteed picks page. I did also bet the Mets. I felt I caught a good number late last night and jumped on it. It’s likely a winner but I can’t give it out with a clear conscience. The profit margin is to tight to be paying a ‘juice’ on a winner. Occasionally I find great value on a -170 or so but generally I try to keep it below -150 for the picks on the site. It’s the first bet I’ve made in months which hasn’t been a release.

I had the pleasure of grabbing dinner and a few dinks with some old friends from NotIowa.com Tuesday night at Lucky Strike inside the Rio. Continued success on that terrific production and I hope everyone enjoys themselves this weekend.

After a brutal Sunday, I wasn’t big on the Monday card so I took the day off. Today, I’m bouncing back with my Black Diamond AL Play of the Week. An important aspect of the recent success has been coming back with a big day after the occasional losing day. Let’s hope that trend continues this evening.

A wise man once said that one of the keys to success is surrounding yourself with people who are smarter than you. As fall approaches, you will see that I leave the college football to a couple of the sharpest men I’ve had the pleasure of meeting since my arrival in Las Vegas.

I don’t have the time or knowledge to do it all. I’m overwhelmed with the NFL, MLB and college basketball. I really don’t understand how any individual can take on much more than that. Historically, I’ve only handicapped the National League in the summer but I have taken on some of the AL responsibilities and it’s been profitable for the bankroll but it’s been my least pleasurable summer in years. All I can say is very few people can come close to understanding the preparation necessary to gain an advantage on a daily basis betting sports.

I’ve had hundreds of people tell me they could turn a consistent profit handicapping and 99% have been fooling no one but themselves. It’s a tricky industry to figure out where the brilliant minds are. Very few people have the dedication and perseverance neccessary to turn a profit but I’ve been fortunate enough to find a couple of them. Many in the sportsbooks will talk your ear off about how great they are but when you start keeping a log of the wins and losses it’s obvious they’re just as well off tugging on a slot machine.

The Godfather and GreyFox will be taking on the bulk of the college football at Tommy Dutch Sports. They’re on board because they share my passion and work ethic for finding winners. The Godfather is more technical and GreyFox is more fundamental but both have produced impressive winning percentages in recent seasons.

Here’s a tidbit from GreyFox:
A look at the Georgia Bulldogs

One of the interesting projections that has been a common theme in preseason publications is the expectations of the Georgia Bulldogs. Most pundits agree that this is a team poised for a run at a National Title. The opinion of almost all experts is that they will open the season ranked in the top 2 in the country. Mark Richt is a proven winner for the Bulldog nation, with a 72-19 (42-17 in the SEC) career mark at the helm. The young confident head coach has led the Georgia program to SEC titles in both 2002 and 2005. In watching the annual SEC media days from Birmingham, Alabama this month, I noticed that he was quite reserved about the upcoming season. Seeming to state the obvious…”Being a preseason #1 can be a great blessing to this program, or a tremendous burden, we’ll just have to see”.

Last season, while sitting in a local establishment on St. Simons Island GA., I watched the BCS selection show with great interest. There was obviously going to be a shake up with both the top ranked teams in the country going down in defeat in the final week. Georgia sat quietly in the bridesmaid chair, beckoning, “If both the teams in front of you lose, don’t you become the top ranked team in the country?” The BCS answered that question with a resounding “NO”. By failing to capture a conference championship, the Bulldogs opened the door for the LSU blowout over Ohio State, and the Bayou Bengals welcomed a National Championship trophy to Baton Rouge.

Georgia brings back a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball with 17 starters returning from the 11-2 2007 team. Former Georgia field general Mike Bobo took over the play calling duties prior to the 2006 Georgia Tech game and now has a full season under his belt. Having a former QB direct the offense can often spur on talent like their returning starter at that position, Matt Stafford. Stafford returns at the QB position with even more experience in big games. With a strong running attack to lean on, the Georgia faithful have great expectations for him this season. While the Offensive Line has huge size, they are young, and not particularly deep. They also lack in experience, as their 37 starts from returning players ranks 3rd lowest in the SEC. RB Knowshon Moreno looks to need only the slightest cracks to continue his burgeoning young career. Coming off a Freshman campaign that netted 1334 rushing yards at 5.4 yards per tote, Moreno had a solid spring, and looks to enter the fall campaign healthy, and with fresh legs. WR Mohamed Massaquoi is a formidable threat on the outside, and they do bring back some veteran talent in WR Kris Durham (JR) and TE Tripp Chandler (SR). Coach Richt seemed high on WR Demiko Goodman as an up and coming talent with great speed (SEC 400 meter track star). Defensively, well, defensively this team is loaded. They return 9 starters from a unit that allowed fewer than 21 points in 9 of their 13 contests, including holding a potent Hawaii offense to only 10 points in a meaningless Sugar Bowl. This unit allowed a stingy 3.3 yards per carry last season, most notably holding an explosive Oklahoma State offense to only 70 rushing yards over 34 carries in week 1. They will be big, extremely fast, and as hard hitting as ever, and barring injuries should match the numbers of the 2007 defense, if not improve slightly on them.

Where I see the largest concern for this program is not with the talent, which is rich and abundant. It does not lurk in the coaching staff, as Richt is a proven winner, and Defensive Coordinator Willie Martinez annually fields one of the top stop units in the country. Their most formidable opponent may lie in the schedule.

In order for this team to meet the National Championship expectations of the Bulldog faithful and the preseason predictions, they first have to beat Florida to win the SEC East. Then, if they can do that, they have to find a way to win road games at South Carolina, Arizona State (a potential tough early road contest in the desert), Defending National Champion LSU, ever improving Kentucky, and Auburn. Add to that the need to defeat Florida at a “neutral” site, Jacksonville FLORIDA, and the SEC Championship game played at a neutral site (which should bring a second contest with either Auburn, or LSU), and the task looks almost superhuman! Taking all preseason expectations aside, even the most faithful Georgia fan could only hope to win 5 of those 7 “non home” games. A closer inspection of Richts coaching record shows that 12 of his 17 losses have come away from the hedges of Athens.

Now the next question one might ask is “Can’t a team with two losses compete for a National Title, especially if they are an SEC Conference Champion?” My answer to that question for this season is NO. With the Big XXII looking especially strong this year (Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and Texas Tech all look to be talent rich) and facing the same conference championship game scenario that the SEC representative will face, the winner there should only have one loss. Add to that the mix of potential unbeatens Southern California and Ohio State. Now sprinkle in the preseason darling Clemson out of a rebuilding ACC, and the task of reaching a title game with two losses looks to be a pipe dream.

Is this a special Georgia team? Are they capable of taking the mantle of a Preseason National Title contender and turn it into the fuel to fire them through that schedule? The most faithful in Athens may say yes, but me…well….10 wins would be a fantastic performance…a National Championship??? I wonder if this will hurt my golf privileges in Athens?

Vegas Numbers will return before the start of football season. My audio equiptment needs a tune up so this is going to be a more traditional blog in the mean time.

Sunday was a tough day to say the least. Struggling through an 0-2-1 day just isn’t my style and it’s the latest reminder that my gambling days are numbered. As great as my record has been, losing days sting more than ever now that I sell my picks.

I bet all my releases in Vegas sportsbooks and the loss out of wallet hurts but the agony is now compounded with others on my action. It’s amazing how the winning days come and go but the losing days devastate me to the point of struggling to eat or sleep. It’s a great life but this is no way to live if I want to be an old man someday.

I choose this lifestyle and have been through plenty of ups and downs in my career but I simply can’t handle losing anymore. I put so much of my time and energy into this that I even get frustrated with this nonsense when the results come in as expected but the losing is completely intolerable.

Don’t get me wrong, I not going anywhere imminently. The bankroll is as healthy as ever and it’s only about 100 days until college basketball season. You can find me in the books all over town for at least the next eight months. I’m still finding winners but I’m starting to enjoy it less and I know I can’t produce at this level for too much longer.

I realize that I’m ignoring other interests and the world is changing at an alarming rate. Earning a living betting sports is enjoyable and rewarding but it takes up just about all of my time and energy. Finding pointspread advantages is an academic exercize which is the rare combination of fun and profitable. I will never regret my years in Vegas but the time is coming for my mind to focus on other endeavors.

With that said, my podcast “Vegas Numbers” and blog “My Final Season” can be found here on a consistent basis.

Take Care,

Tommy D.
